COMVEX examination eligibility is determined by the state board or governmental licensing authority requesting the exam or sponsoring the examinee.

Individual state boards may provide different criteria under which COMVEX may be used. Refer to the Federation of State Medical Boards (State Medical Information – Board Directory) for a listing of all osteopathic and composite boards in the United States and Guam.

COMVEX is administered only at the direction of the state boards. Interested applicants must contact the appropriate state board directly to begin the application process. After the examinee has obtained the approval of a state board requesting or sponsoring the examination and the name and contact information for that state board, the examinee may download a COMVEX application.

Re-examination Eligibility

A COMVEX examination will not be administered to the same examinee more than once within any 90-day period.
