Helpful Links for COM Faculty

The NBOME offers several resources for faculty to learn more about the creation of COMLEX-USA, as well as students’ obligations when testing, and how they perform on the exams. In spring of 2023, the NBOME also updated the COMLEX-USA Level 1 Score Report and Formative Performance Profile, to show expanded strength and weakness information based on candidate performance.

The COMAT series is designed for standardized assessment in core osteopathic medical and foundational biomedical sciences knowledge and administered as end-of-course or clinical rotation assessments. Currently, COMAT FBS-T is free for COMs through August 2024. For more information, contact Jinghua Liu, PhD, MBA, MEd, vice president for collaborative assessment.
