COMAT Self Evaluation (COMAT-SE) is a learning assessment tool for osteopathic medical students to reinforce their medical knowledge and determine areas for additional study in a particular discipline.
COMAT-SE may be purchased by an individual student or by a COM for a group of students.

COMAT-SE offers additional learning resources to assist you in your studies. Delivered on the CATALYST platform, COMAT-SE gives you with the correct answer in real time, the rationale for why that answer is correct, and references for further study.
COMAT-SE provides questions that follow the same blueprint as COMAT Clinical exams that your COM may administer at some time in their curriculum.
COMAT-SE is currently available for Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Osteopathic Principles and Practice, Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics/Gynecology, and Psychiatry subjects.

Unlike traditional examinations that offer only a one-time snapshot of your performance after you finish, CATALYST features an easy-to-read review panel with real-time progress to help you identify and close knowledge gaps.
Candidates have 180 days to complete COMAT-SE, starting from their first login to the CATALYST platform after purchase.

The NBOME is pleased to announce that COMAT Self-Evaluation (SE) examinations are available for Emergency Medicine, OB/GYN, Psychiatry, and Surgery.
COMAT-SE offers 60 questions aligned with the COMAT Clinical Subject examination blueprint, and is available 24/7 on PC/Mac, smartphone, tablet, or through the CATALYST app. Candidates can answer as many questions as they like, on their own schedule.
After responding to each COMAT-SE question, candidates immediately see the correct answer, the rationale behind it, and additional references for further study. An easy-to-read review panel also provides real-time progress to help candidates identify and close the gaps in their knowledge.
