The NBOME's COMLEX-USA examination series provides the pathway to licensure for osteopathic physicians in the United States and a number of international jurisdictions. In addition, the NBOME offers COMVEX, an assessment tool for osteopathic physicians who need to demonstrate current osteopathic medical knowledge.

The NBOME works to achieve its mission of protecting the public through these assessment tools. In doing so, we aim to support the vital work of the state medical and osteopathic licensing boards.
