Typically, the first step in the COMLEX-USA
testing experience begins when the candidate enters the waiting area of the Prometric Testing Center

Candidates are strongly advised to plan to be at the center at least 30 minutes in advance of the scheduled test time. Once in the waiting area, test takers will be asked to sign in.  The proctor will call the candidate when it is time to begin the test.
